Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in London. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services within our NHS trust. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapy programmes for patients, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

- nConduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychological, and social needs.n
- nDevelop and implement individualised therapy plans in collaboration with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team.n
- nProvide expert clinical advice and support to less experienced therapists and support staff.n
- nMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.n
- nMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with trust policies and professional standards.n
- nParticipate in team meetings, case conferences, and clinical governance activities.n
- nContribute to the development and review of clinical policies and procedures.n
- nEngage in continuous professional development and maintain registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).n

Required Qualifications and Experience:

- n
- nDegree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.n
- nRegistration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).n
- nCompletion of NHS mandatory training.n
- nProven experience working as an Occupational Therapist within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.n
- nExcellent clinical skills and knowledge relevant to the role.n

Desirable Skills:

- nExperience in a Band 7 role or equivalent.n
- nSpecialised skills in areas such as neurological rehabilitation, mental health, or paediatrics.n
