We are seeking experienced professionals from the Digital Infrastructure industry to join us as Technical Instructors, sharing their knowledge and expertise with the workforce of the future.
Candidates must have current, verifiable industry experience and demonstrate a strong understanding of their specialist field. We are looking for innovative individuals with exceptional communication skills, a confident presence, and an engaging approach to teaching and learning.
As an Instructor, you will deliver high-quality education courses that form part of The Global Digital Infrastructure Education Framework to learners across the world.
While a formal teaching qualification or previous experience in training, coaching, mentoring, or developing individuals would be advantageous, it is not essential. Full training will be provided. Most important is a genuine passion for your subject area and a desire to share your knowledge and experience with others. You will be fully supported throughout your journey and will undertake the train-the-trainer process for each course you teach.
Knowledge of:
- Roles and Functions of Data Centers
- Industry regulations, standards and best practices
- Data Center facilities and equipment
- Technologies and equipment commonly used in Data Center facilities
- Telecommunications systems and transmission media (Data cabling and Fiber Optics)
Preferred experience in:
- Data Center Technician roles
- Data Center Operations
- Data Center equipment care and maintenance
- Testing and certification of Data cabling systems
- Data Center design principles
- Post incident reviews and route cause analysis with follow up actions and recommendations
Additional advantageous experience:
- Project Management
- Management of Data Centers
- Design of new Data Center installations
- Installation of new systems into Data Center facilities
- Experience in the installation of technical services into Data Centers
- Installation of new grey space/enabling equipment in Data centres supporting power distribution and cooling systems
