Salter Grange is recruiting on behalf of a leading European engineering and construction contractor delivering major data centre and mission-critical projects across Europe.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Package Manager to take ownership of mechanical work packages from installation through to commissioning and handover on a flagship project.

Mechanical Package Manager Key Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical work packages, subcontractors and day-to-day site activities.
• Ensure Health & Safety, QA/QC and programme targets are achieved.
• Coordinate design, BIM, RFIs and technical queries with project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, labour, materials and subcontractor performance.
• Support commercial activities including variations, valuations and cost control.
• Manage testing, commissioning, snagging, O&M manuals and project handover.
• Produce regular progress, safety and commercial reports.

Mechanical Package Manager Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience delivering mechanical packages with a recognised engineering or construction contractor.
• Experience on large-scale projects, ideally within data centres, mission-critical, pharmaceutical or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services, QA/QC and Health & Safety.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with BIM processes and project planning software (Primavera P6 preferred).
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
