Mortgage Administrator – Bridging & Refurb

North London | Office‑based with Hybrid Flexibility | £30,000

Are you a Mortgage Administrator who thrives on keeping deals moving, chasing progress and being the glue that holds cases together?

This specialist brokerage is at a pivotal stage, where your impact will be immediate, visible and genuinely valued.

If you enjoy responsibility, variety and building something alongside an ambitious founder, this role could be exactly what you’re looking for!

About the Company

This is a specialist mortgage brokerage operating primarily in the bridging and refurb finance market. The business is founder‑led, entrepreneurial and deliberately hands‑on, with a strong reputation for complex, non‑regulated transactions and bespoke client solutions.

With deal volumes increasing and plans for growth, the firm is now investing in its first dedicated Mortgage Administrator to professionalise processes and support the next stage of expansion.

About the Role

This is a crucial, hands‑on Mortgage Administrator position focused on post‑submission case management. You will take ownership of progressing cases from application through to completion, ensuring nothing stalls due to lack of follow‑up or administration.

Working closely with the founder broker, you’ll become the engine behind the business – managing submissions, chasing lenders and solicitors, coordinating documents and keeping cases moving at pace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting underwriting and submitting cases to lenders
  • Chasing solicitors, lenders, valuers and clients to drive progress
  • Managing multiple live cases simultaneously, including portfolio builds
  • Updating files using detailed fact‑finds and broker notes
  • Handling inbox management, documentation and general case administration
  • Ensuring a high standard of service and attention to detail throughout the client journey

Package & Benefits

  • Salary: £30,000
  • Office‑based role in Luton with hybrid flexibility

Skills & Experience

  • Experience within Mortgage Administration
  • Experience with Bridging Finance Cases desirable
  • Highly organised, proactive and comfortable chasing third parties
  • Confident communicator with strong attention to detail
  • Resilient, energetic and able to manage pressure and volume
  • Positive attitude and cultural fit are as important as experience

Why Apply?

This is a chance to join a specialist brokerage at a defining growth stage, where your work will have real impact and visibility from day one.

You’ll gain hands‑on exposure to complex bridging and refurb cases, work closely with an ambitious founder, and grow with a business that offers genuine progression rather than a rigid support role.
