About the Role:
We are seeking a highly professional, Governess to join a private household in Central London. You will be caring for twins (9 y.o.) with distinct personalities: one is a passionate fencer, the other a dedicated basketball player.
The household is fully staffed, allowing you to focus entirely on the children development, routine, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
– Managing the daily schedule, including timely wake-ups, hygiene, meal supervision, and strict adherence to the daily routine.
– Coordinating and checking homework completion, liaising with tutors, and ensuring academic goals are met.
– Escorting the kids to school at 8:00 AM and collecting them at 4:30 PM.
– Accompanying the kids to fencing and basketball practice, ensuring they have the correct gear and are prepared.
– Accompanying the family on international trips (packing/unpacking children’s luggage, preparing seasonal wardrobes, and managing child-specific logistics during travel).
Candidate Requirements:
– Proven, verifiable experience as a Governess, Teacher, or Nanny
– A degree in Education, Child Psychology, or a related pedagogical field is highly preferred.
– Willingness to commit to a 1-month-on/1-month-off rota and travel globally on short notice.
– English proficiency is advantageous for daily communication with schools and the household staff.
Location: Central London with International Travel
Schedule: Rota (1 Month On / 1 Month Off)
