Managing Legal Counsel 12 Month FTC – Wealth Management

We’re working on an exciting opportunity for a senior lawyer (6 PQE+) to join one of the UK’s leading Private Banking and Wealth Management businesses for a 12 month FTC.

About the role –

• Provide proactive, commercially focused legal advice on wealth management and retail investment products and services, supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
• Advise on strategic growth, business change and integration initiatives, identifying and managing legal and regulatory risks while balancing commercial objectives.
• Partner with senior stakeholders, including Risk, Compliance and Governance, building trusted relationships and influencing decisions within a regulated environment.
• Drive legal support across key projects and transactions while improving processes and operating practices to enhance efficiency and reduce complexity.

About you –

• 6 PQE+
• Strong knowledge of the wealth and asset management sector, including its legal and regulatory framework.
• Proven leadership ability, with experience guiding teams, influencing direction and supporting delivery across complex workstreams.
• The ability to identify, assess and manage strategic, legal and reputational risk, providing clear and pragmatic advice on mitigation and resolution.
