A newly created role within our People and Purpose Team, the company are looking for an experienced Global Head of Talent to lead the end-to-end talent strategy across the company.

n

Reporting directly to the CPO this is a senior leadership role within the People and Purpose Team. This role will act as the owner of the global talent journey, bringing together Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Talent Management under one global remit. You will lead the shift from fragmented talent activity to a more structured, scalable and commercially focused global model.

Leading the Talent Acquisition and Talent Development teams, you will ensure a seamless experience across attraction, hiring, onboarding, development, succession planning and internal mobility.

nWhat You Will Do:nTalent Strategyn

    n

  • Develop and deliver a global talent strategy aligned to business objectives and future workforce needs.
  • n

  • Create a connected, end to end talent framework that supports employees from attraction and onboarding through development, progression and succession.
  • n

  • Build an integrated approach to talent acquisition, development, succession planning and internal mobility.
  • n

  • Establish clear global standards and consistency across talent practices, whilst allowing for local flexibility.
  • n

  • Design and implement an early careers program that will aim to covert emerging talent into impactful, long-term contributors who deliver future skill requirements.
  • n

n

Lead and develop the Talent Acquisition and Talent Development teams, creating a high-performing and collaborative function.

nTalent Acquisition & Employer Brandn

    n

  • Lead global recruitment and attraction strategies, reducing the reliance on agency hiring and strengthen internal recruitment capability and direct sourcing.
  • n

  • Develop the company's employee value proposition and employer brand strategy.
  • n

  • Develop diverse talent pipelines and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
  • n

  • Define and embed consistent, skills-based assessment and selection frameworks aligned to culture and performance.
  • n

  • Oversee recruitment partners, supplier strategy, talent acquisition technologies and analytics.
  • n

nTalent Development & Learningn

    n

  • Design and deliver a structured global learning strategy, including scalable “always-on” digital learning.
  • n

  • Design and implement development frameworks, career pathways, and talent initiatives that support growth and retention.
  • n

  • Design and deliver leadership development programmes tailored to various leadership levels based on job architecture.
  • n

  • Launch a robust apprenticeships program that will utilise our Levy (UK) and be the vehicle to deliver the Leadership Development Program and Early Careers Programmes.
  • n

  • Embed tools and frameworks (e.g. behavioural insights) to improve leadership effectiveness and team performance.
  • n

  • Ensure learning investment is targeted, impactful and aligned to priority capability gaps.
  • n

  • Oversee learning technologies, compliance training and learning effectiveness.
  • n

nSuccession Planning & Talent Managementn

    n

  • Develop robust succession planning and talent management frameworks across all markets.
  • n

  • Embed frameworks to utilise performance data allowing us to identify and develop high-potential talent and future leaders.
  • n

  • Support workforce planning through talent mapping and capability assessments.
  • n

  • Drive internal mobility and career development opportunities.
  • n

nTalent Insightsn

    n

  • Establish meaningful talent metrics and reporting.
  • n

  • Use data and external market insights to inform talent decisions and measure impact.
  • n

  • Improve transparency and oversight of investment across learning, recruitment and talent initiatives, strengthening control and return on investment.
  • n

nStakeholder Managementn

    n

  • Act as the subject matter expert for Talent Acquisition and Talent Development.
  • n

  • Partner with senior leaders to deliver talent solutions that support organisational growth, capability and performance.
  • n

  • Work closely with People Partners and Centres of Excellence (e.g. Reward, Finance, IT) to ensure a joined-up and commercially effective approach.
  • n

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to embed talent strategy into business planning and workforce decisions.
  • n

nWhat We Are Looking For:n

  • Combined expertise across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Talent Management within a global (focusing on UK and USA), fast-paced organisation.
  • n

  • People Developer: experience coaching and developing high-performing Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams.
  • n

  • Strategy Design and Implementation: we need someone who can build things from infancy, with previous experience building the infrastructure and frameworks.
  • n

  • Transformation and Change Management: this role needs a true visionary who can influence our transformation and support stakeholders through change to land the strategy successfully.
  • n

  • Project Management: strong regard for building and managing the Talent Roadmap, delivering milestones to standard and on time.
  • n

  • Commercial Awareness: applies commercial rigour to ensure talent initiatives align to business priorities and enable us to deliver the goals efficiently.
  • n

  • Collaboration: builds connectivity across the business, builds things with the team and business stakeholders, and includes others in the journey.
  • n

  • Problem Solving: able to overcome barriers and obstacles, removes friction and blockers, and approaches challenges with abundant thinking.
  • n

  • Analytical: builds the metrics and utilises the metrics to lead with data-driven decision making, comfortable measuring impact.
  • n

  • Experience within retail, beauty, luxury or FMCG environments is advantageous.

  • Hybrid and Flexible working: we are based three days per week in Baker Street (London) and two days Working From Home. This is a 37.5 hour per week contract, modelled off 9am – 5:30pm. Core hours are between 10am – 4pm.
