Monument Technology takes the proven, end to end platform developed for Monument Bank, the leading bank for the mass affluent, and makes it available to financial institutions in the UK and globally as a licensed Banking Platform as a Service.n Our platform is a full-stack ‘bank or building-society-in-a-box’, delivering all the functionality needed to run and grow a modern, digital-led financial institution, including native mobile app and web experience, servicing, core and all the back-end technologies, integrated in a single, cloud-native solution (“Bank-in-a-Box”).n We are looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer to support and evolve our Corporate IT and cloud operations capability as the platform and organisation scales.n This role sits at the intersection of internal IT service delivery and cloud platform operations. You will provide first and second line support to internal users, manage and optimise our Microsoft 365 environment, and support operational activities across AWS and Azure. Provide first and second line support to internal users, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, requests and issues in line with SLAs. Administer and optimise the Microsoft 365 environment, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Endpoint Manager. Support and improve Service Desk operations, working closely with outsourced providers to maintain quality and consistency. Implement automation using PowerShell and workflows to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency. Support cloud operations across AWS and Azure, including identity and access management, account configuration and security practices. Collaborate with engineering, security and third-party providers to improve reliability, reduce operational toil and support platform scalability. Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Endpoint Manager. Experience working in a Service Desk or IT operations environment, with knowledge of ITIL processes such as incident, problem and change management. Strong troubleshooting capability and ability to manage a high-volume support queue while maintaining quality and communication standards. Working knowledge of AWS and Azure operations, particularly identity, access management and security fundamentals. Strong documentation skills and the ability to create clear, structured operational content.
