Programme Director – Submarines

An exciting Programme Director opportunity has become available within our dedicated Infrastructure Business Unit. As the Programme Director, you will lead the client team in delivery of a multi‑billion‑pound investment sub‑programme across several major projects, driving commercial performance and on‑time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to the Director of Infrastructure for project and programme performance in delivery of this major sub‑programme, to meet the functional scope defined by the sponsoring business.
• Governance and leadership of Heads of Project to deliver defined major projects to agreed schedule, cost and quality commitments.
• Executive interface with tier one supply chain partners.
• Commercial accountability for design and delivery partners.
• Senior Leadership Team member, contributing to the development of the DBU approach and change programme.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Programme Director, Senior Programme Manager or Delivery Director across Nuclear, Defence, Transport, Energy & Utilities or other high‑hazard, complex manufacturing and operational industries.
• Experience of delivering large‑scale, complex infrastructure projects and programmes.
• Breadth of commercial experience within a collaborative framework, with specific experience of NEC4 contracts.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams and driving commercial performance.
• Strong collaborative stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Must hold a Security Check clearance (application support provided if not already obtained).
