Job Description:

Introduction

We’re building the future of social and strategy is at the heart of it. As Manager Strategy at Pulse Advertising, you’ll lead the development of bold, insight-driven social media, influencer, and paid social strategies for a diverse portfolio of global clients. You’ll bring together data, culture, and creativity to shape work that actually moves brands forward with AI as a core part of your toolkit, not an afterthought.

Responsibilities

  • You own brand, digital, and social media strategies from initial insight through to client presentation and execution handover.
  • You serve as a trusted strategic partner, consulting clients across social media, influencer marketing, creative, and integrated communications, adapting your approach to different markets, cultural nuances, and local consumer insights.
  • You conduct audience, brand, and competitor analyses using social listening, audience segmentation, and trend analysis tools to surface clear, actionable strategic recommendations that drive measurable client outcomes.
  • You develop creator, influencer, and UGC strategies across a wide range of industries including FMCG, retail, automotive, luxury, and technology.
  • You contribute to pitch and new business processes, bringing strategic rigour, rapid creative thinking, and a confident point of view.
  • You collaborate closely with Client Services, Paid Media, and Data teams to ensure strategies are coherent, executable, and effective across all markets.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of agency experience in a strategy role, ideally within social media or digital, with a proven track record across diverse industries and business categories.
  • Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and the broader creator economy, and an understanding of how platform behaviour and cultural context differ across markets.
  • Confidence in working with audience data and insights platforms such as GWI, Brandwatch, Audiense, Pulsar, or B4P and turning raw data into a sharp point of view.
  • Experience working with AI‑powered marketing tools and knowing how to use them to elevate strategic thinking and client recommendations.
  • Ability to think on your feet, coming up with clever, socially native solutions in the room with clients and the team, not just in a deck.
  • Collaborative, low‑ego approach, strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to thrive in fast‑moving, international environments. English fluency required; German, French, or Italian is a strong plus.

Benefits

  • Opportunities to work abroad in Paris, London, Milan, Hamburg or Berlin from any of our office locations.
  • Career support through one‑to‑one coaching sessions and team workshops.
  • Culture of collaboration and celebration across a global team.
  • Hybrid remote policy allowing work from home two days a week.
  • Convenient office locations in city centres.
  • Pets allowed in the office.
