Shop Manager – Full Time

Location & Contract

Richmondshire Walk, Catterick Garrison, Catterick.

Position: Full-time, 45 hours per week across 5 days.

Salary & Hours

£34,262.76 – £39,889.20 per annum (45 hour contract).

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and engage in day-to-day shop operations
• Motivate & inspire the team to deliver efficient service to customers
• Recruit, induct and develop the team through coaching, mentoring and regular feedback
• Ensure customers are looked after, deliveries processed quickly and shop routines are performed for a safe, clean, tidy environment
• Control key shop costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll to meet KPIs; report to area manager
• Maintain standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, merchandising and presentation

Qualifications & Requirements

• Friendly, positive, hardworking approach
• Excellent leadership skills to motivate people in a busy environment
• People‑person with strong working relationships
• Trustworthy and reliable; dependable for team & customers
• Experience as a manager or assistant manager
• A full driving licence desirable; absence does not disqualify
• Successful completion of Employment Verification check and a Basic DBS (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check

Working Hours

Full flexibility required throughout the week, including weekends.
