Responsibilities
Shop managers are commercially aware, constantly looking for new business opportunities, motivating their teams, and creating a safe and energised work environment. They uphold high standards, have a strong drive to achieve results, and are accountable for their business.
The role is empowered and varied, often the only paid member of staff, and requires excellent communication, creativity, delegation and the ability to motivate themselves and others. Shop managers work within a volunteer operating model and may run the shop in the manager’s absence.
