PA / Administrator – Operations & Quality
Faversham, Kent • Monday to Friday • £30,000 – £32,000 DOE
About The Role
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive PA / Administrator to support our Director of Operations & Quality at Avante Care & Support. This is a key role at the heart of the organisation, where you’ll provide dedicated one‑to‑one support to the Director while also playing an important part in ensuring the smooth running of operational and quality functions across the organisation. What you’ll be doing
- Providing high‑quality PA and administrative support to the Director
- Managing a busy diary, coordinating meetings, audits and ensuring thorough preparation
- Producing professional reports, presentations and correspondence, including quality and performance reports
- Maintaining and improving systems, records and processes linked to operational performance and quality compliance
- Supporting governance and quality assurance processes, including audits, inspections and action tracking
- Responding to queries from managers and colleagues on operational procedures, policies and quality standards
- Coordinating internal meetings and events such as operational reviews, quality meetings and leadership sessions
- Managing invoices, purchase orders and supplier relationships
- Supporting internal communications, including updates on performance, quality initiatives and organisational improvements
- Carrying out research and supporting project work linked to service improvement and operational delivery
About You
You’ll be someone who is organised, detail‑focused and confident working in a fast‑paced environment, with the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
We’re Particularly Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience in a PA or administrative role (ideally within operations, quality, health and social care, or a regulated environment)
- Communicates clearly and professionally, both written and verbal
- Is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Can manage competing priorities and stay calm under pressure
- Takes a proactive approach and enjoys solving problems and improving processes
- Understands the importance of discretion, confidentiality and accuracy
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience supporting senior stakeholders
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Experience producing reports, performance data and presentations
- Comfortable working with data, audits and maintaining accurate systems
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Level 3 Business Administration (or working towards)
- CIPD Level 3 (or an interest in working towards it)
