Veterinary Surgeon – Lydon (Birmingham)

Salary up to £65,000 (DOE) with relocation allowance up to £5,000.

Location: Hillman Vets, Lydon Branch, Birmingham (occasional cover at Great Barr).

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week over 4 days, with a 1:5 Saturday morning shift (09:00‑12:30). No out‑of‑hours or on‑call duties.

Work collaboratively with the practice team to deliver high‑standard patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. Continue to develop clinical skills and interests, share knowledge with colleagues, and support the ongoing development of others.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
  • Experience in routine medical and surgical cases with growing confidence.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive approach to learning, openness to feedback and development.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Passion for delivering excellent patient and client care.
