Lead high quality ICT support, resolve complex issues, and improve services while working directly with customers to ensure reliable technology for essential education services. As Senior Consultant managing the Local Support Team, you will deliver reliable, high quality ICT services to schools and partner organisations, combining technical expertise with leadership to resolve complex issues, support service improvement, and ensure technology works when it matters most.
Responsibilities
• Lead the response to challenging incidents, shape how services are delivered, and help develop a skilled team.
• Manage on‑site ICT support services, ensuring systems remain available, reliable, and aligned to customer needs.
• Oversee priorities, day‑to‑day service performance, and handle complex technical issues that require specialist knowledge.
• Contribute to improving processes and services, support projects, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure technology effectively enables service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to deliver and lead high quality ICT support in a complex environment.
- Technical expertise with the ability to resolve complex issues and act as an escalation point.
- Effective leadership and organisational skills, including planning workloads and supporting team performance.
- Communication and stakeholder management skills, with a clear focus on customer service and continuous improvement.
