BIM / Information Manager / Senior Digital Consultant – Aviation – London, UK
Full‑time position within Turner & Townsend’s Aviation team. We support major global aviation projects and are looking for a Senior Consultant specializing in IM and data management.
About the role
Turner & Townsend are experienced in the development and deployment of Information Management (IM) on major projects and programmes. This role delivers client outcomes that benefit the supply chain and add value to projects.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will work alongside a highly skilled team delivering and implementing Information Management from strategy level to project, programme and portfolio level for aviation clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development – capture client requirements to design and author bespoke IM strategies and workflows aligned with industry best practices.
- Implementation Leadership – manage the rollout of IM methodologies across programmes and projects.
- Technical Assurance – conduct structured model reviews, clash detection and data analysis to mitigate risks.
- Stakeholder Management – facilitate workshops and interface with project partners.
- Commercial & Business Support – create bid proposals, write business cases and contribute to quality processes.
- Team Supervision – lead peer reviews, support colleagues and maintain high quality standards.
Experience & Technical Skills
- Minimum 3+ years in an IM Manager role, preferably in consultancy.
- Deep knowledge of BS EN ISO 19650, IMI Framework and industry standards.
- Proficiency in 3D modelling with Revit or ArchiCAD.
- Expertise in clash detection tools such as Solibri and Navisworks.
- Experience with Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms such as Autodesk Forma, M‑Files and Maximo.
- Data visualisation with Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of COBie data requirements.
- Awareness of emerging technologies to support client delivery.

Qualifications
Preferably educated to degree level or with sufficient demonstrable workplace experience to satisfy the role requirements.
