What you’ll do:

A key supervisory role within the National Hub Control Room and Linehaul Driver Group. Reporting directly to the Duty Process Manager the Supervisor will support the management of the teams’ workflow through the assignment of tasks, monitoring results against KPI’s and producing management reports.

Key Role Responsibilities:

With a strong focus on providing high standards of service to both external and internal customers, responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Delivery of essential communications regarding team performance and review via PD board sessions and one to one discussion.
  • Compliance with new employee inductions and training.
  • Compliance with company SOMs and risk assessments.
  • Working closely with the Compliance team to deliver the required standard of driver compliancy.
  • The review, development and delivery of Despatcher training.
  • Assignment of general daily duties to the Despatch team to ensure an on-time network to the customer.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Transport Manager CPC qualification is preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of Control Room procedures including drivers’ hours legislation an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
