We are supporting an enterprise IT client in a strategic HR data improvement programme.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Build and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary across six key people data domains, defining data elements, business definitions, ownership, and source systems
- Map how people data is used across systems, processes, and reporting, documenting end-to-end data flows and dependencies
- Identify and assess data quality issues, gaps, and risks, and evaluate their impact on business decision-making
- Define validation rules and controls for critical data elements, recommending approaches for ongoing data assurance and governance
- Lead structured stakeholder workshops with the People Leadership Team, HR, and wider business stakeholders to gather requirements and validate findings
- Produce clear, high-quality documentation for senior stakeholders to support evidence-based decision‑making
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering data‑focused initiatives
- Strong expertise in MDM, data dictionaries, metadata frameworks, and data lineage/mapping
- Solid track record in data quality assessment, issue identification, and remediation
- Experience working with HR/People data or other sensitive datasets
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and driving discussions
- Skilled in facilitating workshops that lead to clear, actionable outcomes
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of HR systems and data models (e.g., Workday, SAP HR)
