Location

Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Birmingham, Newcastle, Bristol, Brighton or Cambridge. The role will be based in any of the locations listed; however, we operate a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week.

Are you keen to support cultural venues across the UK put on ambitious exhibitions for their communities? We are pleased to advertise this fixed-term opportunity to work alongside the current Manager and oversee service improvements.

Part of the Museums and Cultural Property team, this post will focus on the service redesign as part of a wider Arts Council Transformation momentum. You will work alongside another Manager who will manage the day-to-day running of the service including supervision of a small team, assessment processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee service improvements and redesign, shaping and rolling out new initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of the day-to-day service, ensuring smooth operation.
  • Supervise a small team, providing guidance and support.

Contract

Fixed term until 31 August 2027, working 35 hours per week.

Salary and Benefits

£38,689 per annum, Grade C, plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
