Overview
My client, a leading global hedge fund, are looking to grow out a centralised C#/Java team that builds systems to support front office, middle office, and back office – they’re incredibly dynamic and truly central to the business. They have a strong AI stack, and this role would suit someone who has built with AI in their career and would like to continue, or someone keen to get more AI exposure commercially.
This role works across tens of petabytes of data, public & private cloud infra, real-time streaming pipelines, microservices, and alternative data.
Stakeholders would include traders, treasury, finance, ops, to deliver business-critical systems for use throughout the firm, with strong ownership from requirements through to production.
Responsibilities
- Build systems to support front office, middle office, and back office within a centralised C#/Java team.
- Work across tens of petabytes of data, public and private cloud infrastructure, real-time streaming pipelines, microservices, and alternative data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including traders, treasury, finance, and ops to deliver business-critical systems from requirements through to production.
- Utilise and extend the firm’s AI stack, with opportunities to build with AI in the role and gain commercial exposure.
