Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Corporate Infrastructure Engineer who will focus on Wolt and DoorDash IT Infrastructure. This role will build and scale systems to support a fully automated infrastructure by leveraging various technologies and collaborating with teams such as Security, IT, Network Engineering, and Enterprise Systems. The engineer will design, develop, implement and maintain corporate IT systems under the Manager, Infrastructure in the IT organization.
Responsibilities
- Run and maintain our corporate infrastructure hosted in AWS
- Maintain and administer infrastructure deployment tools
- Build high‑quality, scalable systems with cross‑functional teams
- Think critically, handle details, and adapt to direction changes quickly
- Handle multiple competing priorities and plan work accordingly
- Navigate existing technologies, quickly learn and adapt to new ones
- Make recommendations for improvement and development of IT systems
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in an Infrastructure Engineering role
- Demonstrated experience with Python, Bash and other scripting fundamentals
- Strong familiarity with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and GCP systems/tools
- 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi
- 2+ years of experience working with microservices
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Datadog, Splunk
- Experience in configuration management and security management
- Self‑starter with attention to detail and understanding of system monitoring value
