The Role

We’re seeking a forward‑thinking and technically skilled Data Platform Engineer (Microsoft Fabric & AI) to own and evolve B&FC’s modern data platform. You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and optimising a trusted, governed data environment that underpins reporting, automation, and AI‑driven insight across the organisation.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Own and develop the Microsoft Fabric platform architecture, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable data ingestion, transformation, and availability.
  • Design and maintain high‑quality data pipelines and curated datasets, enabling consistent, governed data models for reporting and analytics.
  • Establish and enforce data standards, definitions, and quality controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, and trust in organisational data.
  • Drive automation and performance optimisation across the platform, improving efficiency, scalability, and cost management.
  • Enable AI‑driven use cases and real‑time insights, working with stakeholders to unlock predictive, assistive, and Copilot‑powered capabilities.
