The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing product engineering team.

You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering features across web and mobile platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using modern technologies
  • Work across the full software development lifecycle (front-end, back-end, and cloud)
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features
  • Optimise performance and improve user experience
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Contribute to engineering best practices and continuous improvement
  • Mentor and support other team members
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, including AI

Key Skills & Experience (Essential)

  • Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js
  • Solid front-end development experience using React.js
  • Proven experience building and maintaining scalable, production-grade systems
  • Strong experience working with AWS cloud services
  • Experience building and consuming APIs (REST or GraphQL)
  • Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Strong communication skills and Agile delivery experience
  • Experience with event-driven or microservices architectures
  • Exposure to AI/LLM-based systems (e.g. chatbots, RAG pipelines)
  • Previous mentoring or leadership experience
