The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing product engineering team.
You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering features across web and mobile platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using modern technologies
- Work across the full software development lifecycle (front-end, back-end, and cloud)
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features
- Optimise performance and improve user experience
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Contribute to engineering best practices and continuous improvement
- Mentor and support other team members
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, including AI
Key Skills & Experience (Essential)
- Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js
- Solid front-end development experience using React.js
- Proven experience building and maintaining scalable, production-grade systems
- Strong experience working with AWS cloud services
- Experience building and consuming APIs (REST or GraphQL)
- Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong communication skills and Agile delivery experience
- Experience with event-driven or microservices architectures
- Exposure to AI/LLM-based systems (e.g. chatbots, RAG pipelines)
- Previous mentoring or leadership experience
