Role Information
The Cost Controller is responsible for maintaining integrated cost reporting and associated artefacts across a portfolio of projects, as well as support the development of the tools and processes used to generate this and supporting outputs. These outputs will be one of the core project controls outputs in support of project management and customer/ business reporting requirements, and the role is responsible for ensuring that all outputs produced by junior staff that feed into this are of suitable quality and timely.
Responsibilities
- Maintain integrated cost reporting and associated artefacts across a portfolio of projects.
- Support the development of tools and processes to generate reporting outputs.
- Ensure all outputs produced by junior staff that feed into this are of suitable quality and timely.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Experience of working on large scale complex projects.
- Manage the structure and content of SAP projects including creating projects.
- Utilise SAP to extract data and produce cost reports across the project portfolio.
- Provide interrogation, assurance and enhanced analysis of cost data on projects, providing consolidated assessments to project, programme and portfolio managers.
- Develop estimates and costings for tender projects and maintain centralised supporting data.
- Support the implementation and production of project cost management activities and reporting including invoicing, variations, cost v budget/ price, EVM, cashflow.
