We are recruiting for a Senior and experienced Commercial Property and Liability underwriter to look after the existing business and write new.
The role is a major UK and global insurer, with an ever-building team, and strong proposition.
The role of a Senior Commercial Underwriter
- Underwrite UK corporate, and Multinational business from a select broker distribution from their Birmingham operation
- Underwriting Property and Liability covers, with perhaps more of a focus towards Property
- Servicing the existing renewals, and working with the Business Development team to develop new business opportunities
- Help with the coaching of more junior colleagues
As a Senior Commercial Underwriter, You
- Will have a minimum of 5 years experience underwriting UK Commercial and/or Corporate business, regularly handling client premiums well over £50k
- Experience or knowledge of multinational placements
- Proven delivery of new business wins, with a can-do attitude to finding ways of writing good, profitable business
