The Opportunity
The business is looking to appoint a Commercial Finance Analyst into a highly visible FP&A and commercial finance role.
This position sits at the heart of the planning and performance cycle, supporting forecasting, budgeting, commercial analysis and broader P&L ownership across the business.
The successful person will work closely with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, helping drive decision making through high quality analysis, commercial insight and robust planning processes.
This is not a narrow reporting role.
The team is specifically looking for someone with strong breadth across end to end FP&A, someone comfortable operating across forecasting, planning, analysis and stakeholder management within a fast moving commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support end to end FP&A activity across forecasting, budgeting and planning cycles
- Assist with ownership of broader P&L performance analysis and reporting
- Partner closely with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business
- Deliver meaningful analysis to support commercial decision making
- Support forecasting accuracy through robust modelling and challenge processes
- Provide clear variance analysis and performance commentary
- Help improve planning processes, reporting quality and financial visibility
- Work closely with senior finance stakeholders across the business
- Support longer term strategic planning and commercial initiatives
- Contribute towards continuous improvement across finance processes and systems
About You
The business is open to part qualified, finalist or newly qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
More importantly, they are looking for someone with strong commercial curiosity, ambition and the ability to operate effectively in a fast paced environment.
The ideal candidate will likely have:
- Strong end to end FP&A experience across forecasting and planning
- Exposure to broader commercial finance and P&L ownership
- Experience partnering with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capability
- The ability to communicate confidently across different stakeholder groups
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
- Strong attention to detail alongside the ability to see the bigger picture
- Experience operating within FMCG, retail, consumer or other fast paced environments would be advantageous
- The ambition and potential to progress into a future commercial finance leadership role
