We are looking to recruit an experienced senior nurse as a Band 7 Epilepsy Specialist Nurse within the Learning Disabilities Division at BCHC.
Key responsibilities include managing a clinical caseload, providing specialist advice, education and training to patients, carers and staff, and supporting the delivery of epilepsy care across the service. The role is primarily community‑based but works closely with system partners.
Applicants should demonstrate a strong clinical knowledge of neurological disorders, especially epilepsy, and an understanding of the specialist care required across the epilepsy pathway. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for delivering excellence in care and driving improvements, are essential.
