Physiotherapy Head Of Service – Band 8A
Hospital Paediatric and Neonates within Women & Children’s Directorate, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHS GGC).
The post holder is accountable to the Clinical Service Manager and oversees staff management, recruitment, appraisal, CPD, discipline, policy, health & safety, budget management and physical resources. They will handle complaints and liaise with external agencies as appropriate.
The Physiotherapy Service Lead contributes to the strategic direction, clinical leadership and coordination of Physiotherapy Services in RHC, driving and influencing the strategic planning, analysis, interpretation and implementation of professional and national policies.
They are also responsible for a highly specialist clinical caseload within their area of expertise (approximately 0.4 WTE).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid HCPC Registration.
- Experience in paediatric physiotherapy and leadership roles.
- Knowledge of NHS policies and health & safety regulations.
