Role Description

The Pharmacist Manager role at Roshban is a full-time, on‑site position based in Lymm. The Pharmacist Manager oversees the day‑to‑day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, and adherence to company policies. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring pharmacy staff, managing stock and inventory levels, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The role involves providing clinical advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals, delivering excellent patient care, and implementing processes to drive efficiency and quality. The Pharmacist Manager also contributes to business planning, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement of pharmacy services.

Qualifications

  • Professional pharmacy qualifications, including a Master’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) and valid registration with the appropriate regulatory body (e.g., General Pharmaceutical Council).
  • Proven experience in community or retail pharmacy, with prior responsibility for managing or supervising pharmacy operations and teams.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, clinical guidelines, medicines management, and safe dispensing practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team management, and staff development skills, with the ability to delegate, coach, and support colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, colleagues, prescribers, and other healthcare providers.
  • Effective organizational and time‑management skills, including accuracy in documentation, record‑keeping, and inventory control.
  • Capability to use pharmacy and healthcare IT systems, with good general computer literacy and comfort with data entry and reporting.
  • Commitment to patient‑centered care, ethical practice, and continuous professional development; experience in quality improvement or service development is an advantage.
