Role summary
Nurse Specialist position at Midlothian CAMHS, Eastfield Medical Practice, Penicuik. Flexible hours Monday – Friday, between 8 and 6pm. Part-time; salary pro-rata.
Responsibilities
- Provide inspirational leadership and compassionate, patient-centred nursing care within the team.
- Contribute to the Nursing and Midwifery Strategic Plan by delivering high-quality, safe and effective care.
- Collaborate with Clinical Education and Training teams, education coordinators, and preceptorship to support nursing development and leadership strengths.
Qualifications and requirements
- Registered nurse with appropriate professional qualifications and registration.
- Ability to lead and develop nursing staff; alignment with NHS Lothian Strategic Plan values.
- Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in care and practice.
- PVG Scheme membership/record required; current member preferred; if not, application via Disclosure Scotland will be required.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom (UK Visa and Immigration checks as applicable).
