CBT Therapist or Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Support to Recovery in Disordered Eating Service (STRIDES) – a service set up to support young adults (aged 16‑35) with mild to moderate presentations. Our friendly and supportive team is looking for staff who are passionate about helping young adults on their way to recovery. The service operates across multiple sites in CNWL, including GP practices and talking therapy services, and delivers individualized and group evidence‑based care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual evidence‑based therapies using specialist CBT skills.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the group programme.
• Supervise junior staff members.
• Engage and meet the needs of the 16‑35 age group.
• Establish connections with key community partners such as universities and colleges.
• Participate in service development and community outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Specialist CBT skills and experience working with eating disorders.
• Experience delivering evidence‑based individual and group therapies.
• Experience supervising junior staff is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with young people and community partners.
