Quotation Engineer

Bennett and Game are currently partnering with a highly respected precision engineering business with over 50 years history who are actively seeking a Quotation Engineer / CNC Estimator to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Review customer RFQs, engineering drawings, models and technical specifications.
• Assess manufacturing methods, machining processes, cycle times and material requirements.
• Produce accurate cost estimates and quotations for CNC machined components and assemblies.
• Liaise with customers regarding technical and commercial queries.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations for materials, treatments and subcontract services.
• Identify manufacturing risks, opportunities and cost‑saving solutions.
• Work closely with production, planning and engineering teams to ensure estimates reflect manufacturing capability.
• Support the company’s continued growth through fast, accurate, and professional quotation turnaround.
• Maintain quotation records and support continuous improvement within the estimating process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quotation Engineer, Estimator, Costing Engineer or similar role within precision engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, including milling and turning.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Commercial awareness with a strong understanding of manufacturing costs and margins.
• Experience estimating cycle times, materials and subcontract processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.

Aerospace Manufacturing Experience

Aerospace manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 17:00
• Friday 08:00 – 14:00
