M&E Estimator (Construction Infrastructure)

South‑East London – Hybrid Working Available

£65,000 – £75,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

We’re looking for an experienced M&E Estimator to deliver infrastructure projects across highways, rail, tunnels, bridges, airports or ports.

This role will support the tendering of complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure projects for a well‑established engineering specialist. You will have autonomy, hybrid working and excellent long‑term career progression.

The Role

• Prepare accurate mechanical and electrical estimates for infrastructure projects.
• Review tender documentation, specifications and drawings.
• Produce cost plans, quotations and competitive tender submissions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and internal delivery teams to obtain accurate pricing.
• Support value engineering initiatives and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Work remotely, travelling occasionally to the South‑East London office and project sites.

Qualifications

• M&E Estimator or Senior Estimator with a mechanical and/or electrical background.
• Experience estimating infrastructure projects such as highways, rail, tunnels, bridges, airports, ports or other major civil engineering works.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
