Product Line Engineering Manager

Location: Deeside, Flintshire

My client, a leading force within aerospace manufacturing are on the hunt for an Product Line Engineering Manager to join the team in Deeside.

Role and Responsibilities – Product Line Engineering Manager

In this role you will look to lead a team of engineers across two main sites within the UK, being responsible for functional performance in all key areas of the business.

Other responsibilities include:

• Responsible for contributing to the development measures that allow the health of the key business processes to be assessed, meet or exceed goals, and improved.
• Responsible for new business proposals. Includes proposal development, market awareness, customer relationship building, and developing new strategies for winning new contracts.
• Coaching and improving engineers at all levels – making sure KPIs throughout the business are achieved.
• Responsible for new product development from contract award through to introduction of new products in the supply chain. This requires measuring and meeting cost, schedule, and performance.

Experience or Qualifications – Product Line Engineering Manager

• Highly extensive experience in leading engineering teams (ideally within an aerospace / defence environment).
• Degree level educated within engineering or aerospace.
• Detailed examples of improving an engineering teams culture and work ethic.
• Experience within a multi-site business and travelling to work with suppliers / partners.
