EN-Supply Quality Engineer

Job Overview

Supplier Quality Engineer – Fixed‑term contract for 6 months, rolling. Location: Lincoln (3 days in office, possibility of remote work). Pay Rate: £30.00‑£35.00 per hour PAYE. Working Pattern: Full‑time.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with professionals across casting, coating, and machining commodities.
• Manage supplier non‑conformance, containment, and resolution.
• Conduct weekly calls with suppliers, addressing concession issues and change requests.
• Engage with on‑site teams (Quality, Laboratory, Engineering, Project Management, Operations) to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Proactively identify potential issues and propose strategic solutions to improve quality processes.

Required Qualifications

• Strong engineering background with relevant qualifications.
• Hands‑on experience in Supplier Quality Engineering and QA in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ISO9001:2015 standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact confidently with all levels of management.
• Proven track record of effective problem‑solving and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of SAP is advantageous; training will be provided if required.
