Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Irvine. You will be responsible for the maintenance of the site through planned and preventative maintenance, fault-finding at breakdowns, repairs, and execution of work generated through the site Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The role covers all production/process equipment, buildings, infrastructure, and grounds. It involves a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days followed by 2 nights & 4 days off). This position offers great development through continuous training.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain site equipment through planned and preventative maintenance.
- Conduct fault-finding at breakdowns.
- Repair and execute work orders generated via CMMS.
- Cover all production/process equipment, buildings, infrastructure, and grounds.
- Adhere to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Who You Are
- Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation engineering.
- Completed a modern apprenticeship or equivalent to a minimum of HNC/SVQ level 3 in a relevant discipline.
- Experience working with a planned preventative maintenance system.
- Ability to fault-find and repair assets.
Preferred Experience
- Working knowledge of Milling, Blending, HVAC, WFI, PW, and pure steam systems.
- Ability to prioritise own workload with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team with excellent written and oral communication.
- Previous experience or knowledge of working in a cGMP environment.
- Previous experience using SAP.
- Yellow Belt training.
