What You’ll Be Doing (AKA the Important Stuff)
You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and gradually build the skills to deliver high-quality CCTV drainage surveys that clients can genuinely rely on.
That Means Learning How To
- Assist with CCTV inspections of foul, surface, and combined drainage systems
- Set up and operate CCTV survey equipment (push cameras, crawlers, control units)
- Understand and apply defect coding to WRC / MSCC5 standards
- Capture clear footage and accurate survey data
- Help produce clear, structured reports
- Work safely and professionally on live sites
- Look after equipment, vehicles, and site standards
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need experience as a CCTV engineer — we’re more interested in the right attitude and potential.
You’ll Recognise Yourself If You’re
- Keen to learn a technical, hands‑on role
- Comfortable working outdoors and on construction or infrastructure sites
- Practical, reliable, and detail‑focused
- Calm, professional, and able to follow instructions on site
- Happy working away from home when required
- In possession of a full UK driving licence
Training & Development
- On‑the‑job training from experienced CCTV Engineers
- Formal qualifications such as WRC CCTV Certification
- Health & safety training (CSCS, Confined Space, NRSWA where required)
- Ongoing development as you progress towards Engineer status
