A fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Team Leader to join us at our InterContinental Edinburgh the George on a Full-Time contract!

Role Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Assistant, your main duties and responsibilities include leading and supporting the Maintenance team to work behind the scenes:

  • Ensuring the hotel is a safe environment for guests and team members.
  • Completing ad‑hoc jobs and predicting problems before they arise.
  • Communicating with wider hotel teams to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Maintenance Team Leader, you will need:

  • Experience working as a maintenance assistant, plumber, electrician, or painter/decorator within a hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety and a passion for ensuring a safe working environment.
  • A passion for providing luxury experiences and willingness to go above and beyond to personalise guests’ stays.
  • Ability to work together in a team with guests as the centre focus.
