Project Manager (Civil / Highways / Construction)

We are looking for a Project Manager from a civil engineering, highways or construction background to join our thriving and diverse team where you will be the heart of large‑scale highway projects and have progression to Technical Lead positions.
In this role you will be responsible for the hands‑on management of multi‑million‑pound projects on county highways and road traffic improvements, risk management, negotiations with stakeholders, and the mentoring and management of the Project Engineer team.
Founded over a decade ago, the company designs, constructs and maintains highway systems, from infrastructure improvements to electrical works and road building. The company is rapidly expanding and needs an experienced Project Manager to streamline these processes.
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000‑£60,000, progression, hybrid working, training, 33 days holiday, flexitime and a discount reward scheme.
The Role
- Oversee the delivery of highway improvements
- Manage multi‑million‑pound highway projects across Nottinghamshire
- Risk and safety management
- Mentor and manage a team of Project Engineers
- 9‑5, Monday to Friday, 37 hours; flexible working hours available
