Timpson Group is looking for a new colleague to join our expanding field service team to care for photobooths, photo printing, and key‑cutting machines across a local territory. You will perform routine service, preventive maintenance scheduling, merchandising, and support for surrounding areas. Full training and a company vehicle will be provided.
Field Service Engineer – Full Time
45 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7.
Salary: £29,952 per annum + bonus scheme.
Location: Barnsley, UK.
We are looking for a person based within 10 miles of Barnsley, who is willing to travel around the surrounding area to service machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Replenish and restock machines.
- Carrying out preventative service visits within a pre‑determined territory.
- Completing site surveys for new machine installations.
- Cleaning machines to maintain customer‑facing standards.
- Managing cash removals and deposits.
- Performing repairs as part of the ongoing maintenance program.
- Maintaining stock both on‑site and in vehicles.
- Providing support or holiday cover to field engineers in other territories.
- Building strong relationships with the colleagues of our concession partners.
- Maintaining a professional appearance, wearing the correct name badge and uniform.

Qualifications
No prior experience required – extensive training will be provided.
