Role

You will work closely with the food and beverage leadership team in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the Hotel and the satisfaction of guests.

Responsibilities

  • You will be expected to deputise for the Food & Beverage Manager in their absence, playing a vital role in leading and developing the team.
  • Supervising, encouraging and developing the food and beverage team.
  • Ensuring all service standards are maintained throughout the breakfast operation.
  • Ensuring all tables are set and ready for welcoming guests at all times.
  • Ensuring all guests’ orders are taken and executed in a timely manner.
  • Having good knowledge of the food and beverage menu.
  • Responding to guests’ queries on the menu selection.
  • Communicating any guests’ questions about the menu, the length of wait and product availability with the Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams, as well as any additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests to the teams accordingly.

Requirements

  • Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry;
  • Previous supervisory experience in a busy environment is preferred;
  • Excellent personal presentation;
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures;
  • Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision;
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing;
  • To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.
