Learning Support Manager (Ref: CC0685)

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

£35,215 – £38,485 per annum

We are looking for someone to identify and co‑coordinate in‑class support for students with learning difficulties/disabilities, prioritising need when necessary. The role is jointly responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the provision, supporting students and all team members, ensuring the area continues to respond effectively to changing learning needs and working in partnership with other teams.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and co‑coordinate in‑class support for students with learning difficulties/disabilities.
  • Prioritise need and support the day‑to‑day running of the provision.
  • Ensure students and teams are appropriately supported.
  • Work in partnership with other teams to meet learning needs.
  • Co‑coordinate, motivate and lead a team.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to GCSE standard, grade 4/C or above, specifically in English and maths.
  • Level 3 Management qualification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience working with people with learning difficulties/disabilities/mental health or challenging behaviours.
  • Experience co‑ordinating, motivating and leading a team.

Contract Details

Fixed term, secondment until 30 June 2027 or until the return, resignation or replacement of the current post holder, whichever is sooner.
