Description

As an Area Sales Manager for our territory North of England & Scotland. You will be responsible for growing Align’s business, Invisalign and iTero, with GP as customers in your designated area. With your ability and experience to lead a team, leading their thinking and earning their support through initiative, action and drive for results you make a mark.

Role expectations

  • Manage, coach, and motivate an assigned team of Territory Managers and Account Representatives
  • Provide leadership and coaching to your team in one‑on‑one and group settings
  • Support and guide your team in developing sales plans and strategies to reach their targets
  • Support and enable growth mindset
  • Analyze data and identify opportunities to drive growth
  • Ensure that your team addresses customers with specific action plans and customer‑centric mindset
  • Co‑travel with your team members and visit customers
  • Provide training in product knowledge, customer segmentation and selling skills
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns when required
  • Hire high‑caliber Territory Managers to keep leading a high‑performance team
  • Balance short‑term operational needs with long‑term organizational needs of the business
  • Regularly report sales performance of your team to the General Manager
  • Collaborate with a network of business leader colleagues to develop new ideas on how to bring sales forward
  • Get involved in projects outside of your regular scope of work

What We’re Looking For

  • Academic background in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing
  • The ideal candidate is residing in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield
  • Very strong insights and business analytical skills, experience in budget management and planning
  • Minimum of 7‑10 years sales experience with at least 3‑5 years managing a sales team
  • Preferably experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
  • Natural ability to spot business opportunities and to persuade and influence others
  • An advocate for digital products and workflows to help grow our customers
  • Advanced presentation, negotiation, and coaching skills
  • Full, clean driving license
