Responsibilities
- Protect our customer’s property, people and assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the site’s published Assignment Instructions (AIs) and any subsequent changes.
- Deliver results that meet or exceed the Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, contributing to contract retention.
- Undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development.
- Be aware of and ensure compliance with all policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK law and guidance bodies.
- Fully complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AIs).
- Review the published Assignment Instructions and stay familiar with changes to suggest amendments that will improve or enhance the current level of service.
- Be compliant with Industry and Statutory Legislation (front-line licence in either Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and wear it at all times while carrying out duties. The customer requires a CCTV PSS SIA Licence. Additional courses may be contractually required.
- Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements of the role.
- Follow instructions and procedures appropriately without unnecessarily challenging authority.
- Work in a systematic, methodical and orderly way.
Training
- Fully and satisfactorily complete all required competency training.
- Undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development as directed by the Security Account Manager.
- Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge through continual professional development.
- Renew your licence 16 weeks before expiry.
Security and Health & Safety
- Look out for and immediately report any health and safety hazards on site.
- Stay alert to threats or changes within the work environment and take appropriate action to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
- Maintain professional conduct in challenging situations and with customers.
- Complete an accurate, detailed notebook entry after any incident for the Incident Report process.
- Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
- Ensure check calls are carried out at the allocated time slot as stipulated in the Assignment Instructions (AIs).
- Call emergency services and Communication Centre to report all incidents.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous security experience
- SIA Licence
- SC clearance desirable
