A fantastic development opportunity has arisen for 2.0 WTE 6 month secondments within the Community, Cancer, Diagnostics and End of Life Division. These posts will operate cross bay, supporting two of our directorates.
Directorate 2 includes Urgent Community Response, Virtual Wards, Integrated Wellness Service and Integrated Care Communities.
Directorate 3 includes Outpatient Physiotherapy, Outpatient Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Orthotics and Integrated Musculoskeletal Service.

Working for our organisation
We operate from three main hospitals: Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.
FGH and RLI offer General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services. WGH provides General Hospital services and an Urgent Treatment Centre for non-life-threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses. All three hospitals provide outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, daycase and inpatient surgery, along with local outreach services and diagnostics across Morecambe Bay.

Person specification
- Education to Degree level in a relevant field, or relevant experience.
- Evidence of maintaining relevant continuing professional development.
- Considerable management experience in a large diverse and complex organisation, inclusive of staff, budget and service management.
- Evidence of highly developed written and oral communication skills in a variety of settings.
- Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team of staff.
