What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead and drive the success of Unique Fitness, while assisting the Head of Commercial and Operations in developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for the University’s Commercial Services.
  • Focus on commercial areas including Unique Fitness, Catering, Hospitality & Retail (including bars), providing a diverse offering that satisfies students, staff, and visitors, aligns with strategic goals, and maintains commercial viability.

Qualifications

  • Level 6 qualification in a relevant subject or extensive equivalent experience.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health and safety qualification.
  • CIMPSA membership level 3 or willingness to achieve.
  • CIMSPA (Chartered Institute of Sport and Physical Activity Pool Operators) certificate.
  • RLSS Pool Lifeguard Trainer Assessor qualification.
  • Sports or fitness related coaching qualifications.

Experience

  • Senior leadership experience in sports management with a good working knowledge of commercial areas.
  • Proven leadership skills and a track record of successfully delivering projects within higher education organisations.
