At Nationwide, a Customer Representative role supports our customers with our services across all channels. The role includes transactions at the till, allocated time handling inbound calls, and supporting product applications through digital sales. The representative will provide first‑class service in person, by phone and online – and you will be fully trained.
It is an important role within the branch, acting as the gateway to protecting and looking after our members. Some branches in this area are closed to the public on certain days because the representative helps members on the phones.
The role is located in Wigan, Greater Manchester. You must live within a 45‑minute commute of the selected branch. Nationwide is keeping most branches open, providing a wide network across the UK.
The Customer Representative will:
- Handle transactions at the counter and support digital banking services.
- Answer customer queries across phone, online chat and in‑branch channels.
- Educate customers on digital services and help them manage their banking needs.
- Provide support for product applications and member services.
- Deliver excellent customer experience across all touchpoints.
