Salary and Hours

£55,000 per annum. Bonus opportunities available.

Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week 07:00 – 16:30. Flexibility required.

Day to day, you will be:

  • Plan and control workforce resource availability to meet customers’ fleet demands.
  • Manage and control labour costs, including use of third parties.
  • Comply with safety audits and manage the working code of practice for contractors.
  • Ensure planning for facilities, bays, machines, tools, diagnosis installations, etc., is carried out correctly, and design workplaces and processes optimally.
  • Prepare planning and calculations for investments in workshops, facilities and HR, together with the Rygor management.
  • Regularly review prices for workshop services and, after prior agreement with Rygor management, adapt them to suit the market.
  • Measure and report on daily workshop performance in relation to retail sales, warranty and internal contract.
  • Manage WIP and cash control.
  • Employ new staff and carry out effective induction.
  • Manage, coach and motivate employees, ensuring retention of high‑quality team members.
  • Define target agreements with employees and review the level of target achievement.

Skills & Behaviours Required for this Role:

  • Qualifications – Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair and Maintenance; prior experience in a similar role and industry preferred.
