Service Assurance Specialist – Airport Operations
Join easyJet as a Service Assurance Specialist in Airport Operations, working within the Tech & Data organization to ensure airport operational technologies remain stable, resilient, and ready for future growth.
Collaborate with product teams, ground handlers, and airport partners across the following core product groups:
- Airport Management
- Departure & Compliance
- Baggage Operations
Role Purpose
You will be at the heart of our mission to deliver seamless digital experiences for millions of passengers, championing service maturity, influencing tech evolution, and growing your career in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support ITSM processes, operational governance, and standardized IT support across all airport technologies and suppliers.
- Coordinate and expedite live operational IT incidents to minimize disruption to flights and ground crew.
- Participate in a scheduled roster as an out-of-hours Major Incident Manager (full training and tooling provided).
- Validate new service deployments, test disaster recovery plans, and ensure documentation is complete before technology goes live.
- Investigate recurring issues, identify root causes, and run operational reviews to boost long‑term service resilience.
- Work with Product Managers, Technical Specialists, and external suppliers to maintain high data quality and system visibility.
Key Skills
- Operational IT support experience in complex environments.
- Practical experience with ITSM and ITIL processes.
- Experience supporting third‑party suppliers and supplier‑managed services in live environments.
- Understanding of airport operations, ground handling processes, and live airport technologies.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to balance operational resilience, compliance, and user impact.
