Ameresco Energy Supply Management (ESM) is an award‑winning energy management consultancy based in the UK. We are hiring a Systems Development Analyst at our Leeds office, working hybrid.

Team Structure – Energy Supply Management

The ESM function is divided into three teams: Client Services, Pricing/Risk Management, and Consultancy. As a Systems Development Analyst you will collaborate with members of all teams.

Role Scope and Responsibilities

The Systems Development Analyst will act as the dedicated full‑time developer for the unit, reporting to a Senior Analyst. Key responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop and upgrade internal and client‑facing tools and applications.
  • Ongoing maintenance of existing tools and functionality; testing and debugging of solutions.
  • Support colleagues with complex requests and project work.
  • Provide practical solutions to ad‑hoc operational queries.
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in software development.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Skills, Experience and Capabilities

  • Proficiency in full‑stack development using C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code.
  • Design and develop user‑friendly web interfaces.
  • Work independently to achieve defined goals.
  • Effective time management and ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Energy‑industry experience is welcome but not essential.
